Let me ask you this... how much is your time worth? $50 per hour? $100 per hour?

If you spend hours looking for software and more hours learning how to use it and then even more hours designing and tweaking and then more hours fixing things that didn't work, would it have been worth it to hire it out?

You just need a few pages to showcase what you do -- a 24-hour marketing machine, if you will. A friend of mine builds websites starting at $99. In your situation, it would be worth it just to let someone else deal with it and deliver the finished product -- uploaded and everything -- to you hassle-free.
