The other comments are totally valid. In the realm of starting a business, $5K is not a huge amount of money. That is start up capital that you should be able to save on your own. If you are not willing to invest that much, most people will not be willing to invest that much either.

I know the feeling of a family and bills. Have you considered a second job to finance this? Then, when the money comes in, you won't have to share it with anyone.
