Currently, my company S&S Micro Solutions specializes in PC components and custom PCs, with just a few lines of consumer electronics. I am looking to expand my line of consumer electronics, mainly plasma, lcd and projection TVs. I have found one distributor, Almo, who has decent pricing, but their shipping is expensive, especially to the West Coast.

Does anyone know of any true wholesale distributors, similar to what Ingram Micro and Techdata do in regards to Computer components. It seems that all the companies I have found, besides Almo, are retail resellers advertising that they have wholesale pricing. I am looking for more of a pure distributor, selling only to resellers/retailers and not to the public.

I'd imagine that in computer hardware this would be difficult to do because it is just so competitive and there are companies that get stuff direct from the manufacturer in super bulk. Perhaps YOU can distribute your products to retailers yourself.

Im am sorry, I was not very clear in my request. I already have enough distributors for computer components. I am looking for a true wholesale distributor for consumer electronics...namely Plasma, LCD and DLP televisions.

Hello. If you are still seeking a wholesaler for consumer electronics, let me know. One of my suppliers sell strictly to other companys and not to the public. So as long as you have a valid reseller's license, you should be fine. PM me if you are interested

Try www.dandh.com. They have both computer components and consumer electronics. Not quite on the level of Ingram or Tech Data, but close and they have the other goodies, as well.
