Default UPS discounts?

I've been using USPS Priority Mail and also daily pickup with UPS for 8 years, use Worldship, and I noticed that my shipping costs are up 30% sales adjusted from last year.

I was hoping my shipping volume is high enough now to get a discount with UPS. I ship 30 packages per week UPS.

But UPS told me you have to be spending on average $400 per day to get a discount!!

I got a quote from DHL, but UPS was about the same and easier.

I got a quote from Fed EX/FedEx Ground, and it was competitive with what I pay now with UPS, but the pickup is in the morning, so I'd loose a day's transit time because of that.

Does anyone get a UPS discount who ships less than $400 per day?

That's a load of BS. Call FedEx, they'll get you set up with a discount and faster delivery times.

With your volume, you may not get the best discounts. You might try to work through a reseller such as Agistix (http://www.agistix.com) They can get you a 50% discount from DHL as well as any LTL you might have both inbound and outbound
