Does it ever present a problem with merchants accepting your business checks when it just has the business Po box on it? Does it matter if you put a phone number or not on the checks as well?

I don't think it matters. If you're concerned about it you could get a PO Box through something like the UPS store. Your address would then be their business address and not have a PO Box number on it.

It depends on the merchant I think. I actually do not have checks and very rarely even have cash. (Does cash still exist? )

As far as writing your phone number on it - who is to say you won't put a bogus number on it?

If you are really worried, you could consider a service like Mailboxes Etc and their system. It makes it look like an apartment.

I have no problems using my P.O. Box with checks at all
