Default Taco Bell

There are no taco bells in quebec and my cousin is interested in starting one up here...i was just curious of how difficult it is to get the rights to a certain restaurant in a province/state, so not only we can open here, but people will have to come to us in order to open another one in quebec

and if anyone knows the reason why there are no taco bells in quebec, pls share

I might be completely wrong about this, but I seem to recall that Taco Bell isn't a franchise, but a chain that is owned entirely by one company.

Have you seen the requirements to be able to even open one?

ya i did, i mean its not 4 me, its my cousin whose gonna open 1 with the help of my dad, and im just gonna ease myself in if all goes well.

So what do you think, is it still a good idea to open 1 in my city, considering theres a plan to start opening a few here, but theres nothing concrete yet.

It's a great idea, if you can. I personally love taco bell, even though I shouldn't eat it, I say tell your cousin to do it. It's worth the money, and I doubt people will ignore it. Everyone loves toco bell.

Don't forget that it is rather expensive to become a franchisee of a fast food chain. I think that the initial cost is at minimum 100.000 dollars. The cost is much higher with Mac Donald's and Burger King.
