Default Online Partnership

How many of u have partners on net . I mean u live in one country and ur partner in some distant place and u both work together through internet.

Does that helps you create trust between both of you or being far away and sometimes if u have never met the other person brings some kind of problem in working .

I personally cant trust a partner online (unless you have met them). If there is a significant financial investment, Id say the $1k plane ticket is well worth it to visit them. If you do go into an online partnership, make sure you fill out the necessary legal forms and have a lawyer look over them.

I would have a hard time having an online-only business partnership with someone, but it is possible. I would have to first have many smaller deals and build up some trust before I did this. Like entrepreneur says, it might be worth it to visit in person if the business were large enough to justify it.
Having said that, though, I think there could be some definite advantages to pursuing an online partnership and I would never rule it out.

There should be no problem having an online business partnership as long as both parties have signed a legal contract. However, meeting in person atleast once a month is necessary when making plans and decisions.

Online partnership with our online business is good but, we have to trust our partner who is living in a foreign country and never see him before. Whether it is online or offline partner, he should be trustworthy. My opinion is dont share sensitive information like bank account details with your unknown online partner.

How do you establish trust with a partner in a foreign country? its one thing to have the person living in the united states but someone in another country sounds really risky.

I agree that forming a partnership with someone living in a foreign country sounds risky. You certainly don't have as much legal recourse should things fall apart.
