I hear alot about affiliate programs on the net. Is anybody really making money from them. Or are they extremely hyiped up with very little action happening?
No, affiliates really make good difference in your revenue streams. I personally tried some affiliates and they worked great for me, the only thing matters is the correct selection of affiliates according to your site and content.
I have been with an affiliate program since Feb and so far in total I have only made $13 on it. I seems like a good program, with lots of members so I was wondering if you could tell me how you make money with any of your affiliate programs.
Well, to earn some money from affiliates, you must choose your affiliate partners carefully according to your site theme and niche, you must focus on your site theme if you need good results.
Many people who won website(s) are earning good income from the affiliate programs. You have to select affiliate programs carefully acording to the content and theme of your website. For example, if a visitor come to my website and click a link and purchase a product from Amazon I will get some commission from Amazon but, the visitor know the Amazon website and next time he directly goes to Amazon. In this situation, the affilaite website get fame and sales from affiliates but, affilaites wont earn anything except the first sales.
I've had some luck with different affiliate programs. I choose to use them in conjunction with adsense usually.
You have to do more than just throw up an affiliate link, though. I found that if I provided a short product review the program is more effective.
