I work for a small coin-operated amusement business where I keep track of all parts inventory, ordering, and repairs on equipment. I need a software application to help me to more professionally maintain ordering and inventory control. I just need some feedback on what other small businesses use to maintain inventory and ordering. I have been trying Microsoft Access, but have found it awkward to use and not as flexible as a beginner like me needs. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Well you have several options. I would recomend using Microsoft Great Plains or Oracle 10g. Microsoft is probally a lot easier to use.
