I have found two really good resources for freelance writers. In my experience I have obtained quite a bit of writing work through these methods.

One is my joining ConstantContent. You can write and submit articles that will be stored and others can purchase. In addition, you can search through the requested content to see if you have any content meeting requests. If you have already submitted and approved content, you can reply to the person making a request with your article for them to view. Or you could consider writing articles on requested topics and then submitting them. Visit: http://www.constant-content.com

Another good source is http://freelancewriting.com/. You can search the list of writing jobs. You are also able to post your own ad with requests for work.

Thank you Star123. I shall definitely look up both the sites. By the way, are these free sites to register or paid? I got to check that out too. Somehow I dont feel comfortable paying before earning.

ConstantContent is free. You get paid when someone decides to buy your article. There are lots of articles posted already. I am not sure how you get your article to stand out. Not everyone looking for content has the time to read through several articles. It's worth a try though.
