I am thinking about buying this ebook that tells you how to make money with a digital camera. Has anyone here read it and if so can you provide me some feedback?

Most of those books like that are basically common sense. I have read a few of them and what is in there is not anything that the average person already knows

Yeah, plus a lot of this kind of info is already on the internet, for free. Do some research online before you buy

Those type e-books, whether photo, feeding your pet, or getting the most gas mileage from your new car, are just what Corey said ... things most of us can figure out on our own.

Now ... if you lack ideas or your imagination is somehow stiffled, you might benefit. But ... I'd bet 99.9% of what is in that e-book is stuff you could figure out on your own. Basically all you're likely to get is list of ideas with no details on how to go about them.

Such as:

Sell your pictures to magazines and newspapers.

Take photos of products so people with ecommerce sites can post them to their web sites.

Do wedding photos.

See? Ideas ... with no hint of how to go about it.

If you have ever used any of the file-sharing programs out there like Kazaa, Limewire, etc - you can search for e-books and you will find hundreds of them. 99% of them are crap.

Some are interesting but I never found one I'd pay for.

This is in no way an endorsement of using file sharing programs.

That site looks like it teaches you how to print & sell stock photography to places like http://www.fotosearch.com or http://www.photostockplus.com

There's nothing wrong with ebooks in general. I'm working on an entire series I plan to market. You just have to be careful you actually get something for your money. If the site selling the ebook does not make it clear exactly what you'll get, you'll likely not much at all.

Hahaha... outfit used to be just 1000 metres from me (about 2/3 rds of a mile)...

In any case, booklets that tell you how to make money from various everyday objects are mostly just exploiting the gullible. People spend billions on such information, but because the amounts are tiny, they never bother to claim their money back.

Only dishonest people market such dishonest documents.
