Just out of curiousity, what exactly does it take to start a high tech company, you know, the ones with the latest technology and media hype.

1) What education background is required?
2) Where equipment or cost does one need?
3) Where can one find money if required?
4) Where can one find a lab to do experiments in?

You know, this field looks really interesting. Say for example, if i wanted to start a company of photonics for medical applications or a biotechnology company that uses all natural products to strength the immune system (lets just say).
