Default Original Sin

“No person earns any (sin) except against himself (only), and no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another.” (Qur'an 6:164)

“The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.” (Deuteronomy 24:16)

Two simple verses, the first from the Qur'an and the second from the Bible. Of course you can all understand what they mean. They are basically stating that every one is responsible for their own actions and that a just God will never punish people for the sins of others. Yet, Christians claim that God (swt) created humans to live eternally in heaven but when Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden fruit, God punished them by death and banishment from heaven.

Now here is the part I don't agree with, Christians further claim that we humans, Adam's descendants, inherited not only death, but our father's sin. And that sin is permanent and can only be forgiven by God (swt) except through a sacrifice so great it would make Him forgive us. This sacrifice of course is the sacrifice of God (swt) himself, incarnate in His “son” Jesus (pbuh).

Therefore, according to modern Christianity, we are all damned to hell for a sin we did not even commit! Unless of course, believing that God (swt) sent His "son" Jesus (pbuh) to die for Adam's sin. The theory of "Original Sin" is the bases on which many Christian beliefs, from the "crucifixion" of Jesus (pbuh) to the concept of salvation and savior from Hell are based on. It forms the very basis for the mission of Jesus (pbuh) himself.

So here is my question to Christians, are we, humanity, guilty for Adam's sin? A sin which we did not commit? And how do we repent? And what happens to those who don't?

In Islamic belief, one is only punished for the sin(s) one commit and everyone is punished/rewarded for their own actions. Sin is not a hereditary trait or ‘stain’ passed down from Adam to his decadents. All people will be accountable to what only they themselves did in this life.

How can God be fair if He punished people for that which they have not done?

I think that is a hard question to answer bc alot of people think that God controls everything and would know of someones actions even before they acted...

Post Important Weight Loss Facts

You cannot lose weight using Low Fat Diets. Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, but yet our society is getting more overweight as each year passes.
This fact alone should tell you that eating a purely low fat menu is not the answer to losing weight.
You won't lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either. In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body's fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight (low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few days, but then after that all weight loss comes to a halt --- known as a dieting plateau). You can never get slim by starving yourself.
Best weight loss programs usually involve slower dieting progress over a longer period of time, since such programs generally promise only 2-3 pounds of weight loss per week.
