I'm trying to patent a sticker quote.

I'm sure some of you guys have seen those stickers people have on the back of their cars with the Initials of their city on it. For example, if the city is called "Cannon Beach", they have a sticker that says "CB"

If I make a sticker like this with a quote that noone else has done, can I patent it?

I feel it is pointless to produce and sell this sticker if someone can just copy it. So any info would be great.

and secondly, if I can patent it, how much does a patent like that usually cost?

My daddy is a patent attorney. I will email him the thread and see what he says.

Your patent would probably be cheap based on the product, and how can you be sure no one else has the sticker? Think of all the cities in the world!
