We have just started the production phase of a new media outlet (magazine that reaches 1.1mill per qrt min), we are looking to reach large companies who would be interested in advertising in such a publication. it is an inflight media outlet so many travel companies might be interested as well as travel services or others

any ideas on how to reach these people

we have sent out media kits to all the major media/advertising firms (mccann, omd, deutsch, jwt....) any other ideas?

ust a suggestion on another avenue to try, but if you can also look at contacting the department of tourism for different areas, they would work with a lot of local businesses that would be looking to promote there tours, or travel products, and may be able to work with you in some respects.

Pick up a similar magazine or go to a travel website, and start cold calling their advertisers.
