OK, Here it is, tell me what you think!
Lotteries and gambling represent a multi-trillion dollar industry worldwide. Lottery Sales alone in the US for fiscal year 2003 topped 45 Billion. The advent of the internet has facilitated the ability for anyone in any area to play in any lottery anywhere the world. With online transactions making repeat betting or ‘recurring scheduled entry’ possible.
The Wish Lottery will work with some of the similar features of a regular lottery, but also with enough unique aspects as to gain huge market attention. Lottery entrants will be structured into groups of 200,000. Players are allowed multiple spots if they wish, each spot costs 1.25/wk or 5 US dollars /month or 60/US dollars per year. The group will exist for no more then 3 years. No player can win more then once, regardless of number of entries in an individual group or multiple groups. No less then once a month a winner will be drawn and that winner will have a chance to have a personal wish fulfilled. Half of the proceeds from the group that month will be available to fulfill that winner’s wish. The Wish Lottery will work with the winner to facilitate the wish according to their prepared wish description. There will be no cash equivalent offered, the wish must be an identifiable objective, not simply a payout of cash. Participants will be asked to identify their wish to the best of their ability within the online community as a requirement prior to winning. The Wish Lottery organization will take on the task and duties of wish fulfillment, including whatever administration and oversight is required until the wish is completed. Once that winners name has been withdrawn from the pool, each remaining participate realizes an increase chance of winning. No less then 36 winners will be achieved over the course of three years per group. The Wish Lottery system will have the ability to run multiple groups simultaneously

Sounds like a good start, I would double check all the math :P And when does it start? After you get X amount of people? Or do you have some money to put in for the first winnings?

Do you really want to know what I think?
Angel,
They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery, so I guess I'll take it as a compliment that you quoted page 2 of my website. You're idea???? good luck. It took me almost 40 grand to set the legal legwork of this operation alone. If you think you're going to be able to pull off this business go for it, I can tell you right now, it's not for the faint of heart. Do you even watch the news? Have you seen where they arrested the owner of 'sportsbet on a layover in new york and there are extradition orders for the other two guys still pending? Let me give you a word of advice, if you're going to steal an idea and make a business out of it, pick something a little less risky. If you're still interested in The Wish Lottery, the new website will be up in August and you can join when we launch in December.
As to the other questions:
Wish limit is 500,000.00 per month, non-transferable, no cash equivilent.
Group limit is set at 200,000 members in the draw. Once the 200,000 are in, the group closes, no new members messing with your odds. Winners picked monthly after group closes.
We've changed the group to a 12 month cycle down from the 3year. Still the best odds of any gambling/lottery game you'll ever play.
And if someone "wishes" to shut us down, they'll have to work really really hard at it.
The (real) wish grantor
