My wife started a store at Cafepress, and I was wondering if this is a good place to start an online business. It looks like you really have to have an unique item, and be able to have a good advertising, in order to draw customers to your site. Anyone out there, happen to use their services......???

I to have a cafe press. If you are a good designer, then yes its not to bad. However, they are expensive. You could get tshirts printed for 1/2 the price (in bulk... around 100 of each design). I purchased cpshop (http://cgi.marty.net/) which allows you to run the cafepress store on your own domain. Good luck!
