Default Real Estate Outsourcing

Im thinking of Outsourcing my asistants to India. As hard as I try I just cant get anyone I find to be worth what I pay them. This could save me money and office space. The only draw back is I would still need to keep at least one of them in the office to handle walk ins and other personalized tasks that someone in India cant do. What do you all think of outsourcing my help?

What makes you think Indians will be any better than what you have now?

Indians will be completely clueless about your local situation and will have no idea of what your customers really need.

In any case, why do you think some thickly accented Indian who is only available on the phone will be more trusted than a face to face chat with one of your customers by one of your local people?

You'll still have to spend time training the Indians, just as you spend time now training locals.

I would say that you need to keep looking for the right people and once you get them, keep them with a good salary, good conditions and the right training.

A company’s most valuable asset is its staff... if you adopt this philosophy you’ll most likely find that your staffs moral, production, etc... All sort themselves out (improve).... at the moment I can only imagine how unmotivated your staff are if you are having such thoughts.

What is wrong with giving local people work, especially in such a locally focused business as real estate.

It depends on exactly what you are looking to do exactly? Are you that busy that you need them to answer your phones? Most people usually like to speak with the agent - afterall, that is going to be the person that is either going to be walking through their house with strangers or finding them a place to live for the next few years.

If you need them to research areas, etc - then it might be a good idea.

I hang up the phone if I get someone from india on the other end. I can't understand them and the females don't speak loud enough.
If I were going to do business with your company this would be a deal breaker for m
