Default urban adventure center

Hi all. I have an idea for an Urban Adventure Center (UAC), which briefly is, a place in the big cities where people can walk, run or montain bike inside a building on man made trails. Think disney theme rides but on a much smaller scale. Should I show this to; architects, construction companies or general money people. Or since it's kind of a health club, should i look to the sports sector? This would be a quite large money investor but as there are a lot of big city/ urban area's I think there is room for many. Any ideas? thanks. stuart.

I get the market. I'm in fact developing a simliar concept, only my target is specifically the athletic youth from infant to adult and even beyond. The facility will in an indoor snowboard attraction. It will either be environmentally controlled or not in need of refrigeration so the facilities can be built anywhere. These are very popular in Europe.

For your project i wonder if a large unused factory type of building may be suitable. you could truck in a heap of dirt to build moutain bike tracks and have qlking/running track around the outer edges of the moutain bikeing bit. You may not necasarily be able to get a lot of high peaks for the riding but you could get a very varying up and down lengthy track out of a old unsed warehouse.

If you have a good idea of what size space you want start by going to commercial real estate agents, asking what buildings they have have in the size range you want for sale. Once you have a good idea of what is available in the sort of area you want, do some market research maybe ask some local gym's if they mind if you leave a stack of short surveys for the patrons to complete.

Once you have this information then put into a proposal that you can take to a lender or investor and go from there. Just make sure you have all of your financial side worked out and in the proposal. And when any investor or lender is interviewing you about the proposal try to know the answer to any posible question they could ask you.

Hi!

I really agree with orion. You should contact some real estate agents and maybe you will find an old factory. Your idea is great , I really like it.

I read something about a company called metronaps, that is in the business of delivering naps for tired CEO's. They location is great, i think is the empire state building....

That's why I think your location is somehow crucial. And I think you should define your market, because this is very important for a startup business....
