I have seen people talking about the different ways on forming an LLC. Is it better to do it online with one of the corp websites or should I just do it with my secretary of state website. This would be for a real estate company. Thanks!

Just make sure you understand how you want to be organized and make sure you have it in your articles properly. How you actually go about registering is up to you. Our SoS makes it easy. Just go in, fill out the card, sign ... or as you said, do it online. No need to go thru anybody else.

What actually is the difference or benefit with going with one of the online places to form a LLC? I have seen some people say they give you a tax ID, can I get that else where?
