An accountant that understands your business can do wonders!

A tax preparer just does not do them justice.

I already have more or less the best accountant in the area. Multi-Millionare real estate investor, owner multiple profitable businesses, super agressive, understands business and tax law better than anyone I have ever spoken too.

I don't want to just count on an accountant though, I want to be able stratagize above and beyond the advice that my accountant can provide.

Thanks for the advice guys.

It sounds like this guy should be able to help you immensely with your strategies, since he is already pretty agressive.

The only concern I would have for an accountant with this type of credentials is if he would have time to really advise your business.

Pay your employees an hourly rate. If you want to save on labor costs, work on developing processes that maximize productivity, so you can get the most work done with the smallest crew possible.

Yes Toolman that is definetely a concern, because he is very busy. He knows me personally and my family, so I hope he will work me into his schedule. If he doesn't I will of course look elsewhere for a qualified accountant.

That's a good point Coach. If I do end up purchasing this business, I will definetely shake up the current systems if I see a more effective way of doing things. In fact, I already have a couple ideas to reduce labor.

Now if Oregon would only pull their head out of their a$$ and obolish the pointless gass atendant law we have, I could really cut costs. *rubs hands together in a sadistic fasion*

Default direct deposit program

Hi friends, I sign up on the direct deposit program at my work a week ago. The routing number that I gave them is from the same bank but from a different state. Today my payroll did not show up on my checking account. I called and they told me to wait for a few days because it got delayed and is going to get re-routed to my correct routing number from my city. Is that true? I need your opinion.
