Revently I read an article about webconferencing detailing how the soldiers in Iraq have this technology in order to keep in touch with their families. Well, a soldier happened to log in only to see his mother lying on the floor having had, I think it was a heart attack, and thank goodness was able to raise the alarm. That guy must be so thankful to Linktivity, LiveOffice or whichever company supplied the technology.

Does seem like something that will become part of urban myth, but who knows.

It couldn't have been either Linktivity or LiveOffice because they both suck and are ripoffs. I tried them both and found that they just didn't work as advertised. What do you expect from products that need spamming to be promoted!

We have used both actually. One of our clients has Linktivity - there were some initial problems in the set up because Linktivity does not support one version of Java.

Live Office is being used by another company that we conference with every week. Some of their clients have had some problems with the installation as well
