Does anyone here trade in the stock markets? Im thinking of buying some cheap shares to try it, and then sell them the same day, or next day, hopefully making a profit.

There are various ways of making money on the stock market but what you propose sounds high risk. High risk has the potential to give good returns, but also the potential to make big losses. Lower risk investments (which carrying a greater likelihood of making a modest profit) are usually best done over the longer term.

If you're playing with small sums, bear in mind also that it's going to cost you each time you trade. Even if you make a little, there's every likelihood that a good proportion of that might disappear in fees.

there are some online games where you can simulate stock market exchange. The stock situation is real because they are the real deal - only you buy make believe shares. Why not try them first - just to see do you have it to make it - before you start spending real money on a very risky business. Good luck.

there is an internet website that allows u to practice buying stocks, it gives u stocks real numbers but ur just not speding any money, its fun and it teaches u alot, there is accually a few sites like that out there so maybe just google the subject.

I own 18 shares of Activision, 50 of Disney, and 12 of Hersheys. The Stock Market is so much fun because really, it's legal gambling.
