I am looking for innovative business concepts (or innovative products) that are successful in the US, which have not reached Europe yet.
Once I find viable concepts I plan to start up a company and find an entrepeneur to run it. My role would be the financing and support based on my general business experience.
Does anybody have suggestions where I should look for such concepts (and/or products)?

i can give you couple suggestion but i need to know wich market in europe you are trying to reach? for example Hungary doesnt have any big malls at all, and I mean it.

you could create brand name food wich could be cheaper then actual stuff in supermarkets but it wont work for eastern europe as its already flooded wich cheap food from farms and such ... also export from Asia makes it harder to compete in that field

anyway it was just an example,if you can specify what kind of business you are looking for I can create tons of ideas

I am looking at Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. My primary interest would be a more technically oriented concept/product. For example, I was playing around with the idea of a company built around practical nanotechnology products.

..or if its tecky stuff i would go to japan and observe what the teenagers are playing with..
