Take an ordinary business and REV it up in a big way. There are a lot of examples of this. MacDonalds took the humble hamburger and turned it into a SYSTEM.

As you are in Dubai, you could consider property, tourism, services. Comtrad has a good point. Do something you love. Have a good look around and ask yourself what you like to do, what goods or services you can supply and how much you need to invest.

Don't believe that the only successful businesses are those that are unusual, new or cost a lot of money to set up.

You could easily do an ordinary business like car renting, but if you find a superior way to do it you'll stand out a bit.
