Default RE: financing

hello again all
thanks for the advice on the last post. I have thought about my idea more and think it would be wiser to start something me or my partner have knowledge of.
I have one concern however before I take the first step. I am a tenent of a property that I am thinking of selling. i have no other property besides this one. Would it be wise to sell this property or would I need it to obtain finance needed to start my business. in other words do u need something to your name to obtain a decent loan.
Thanks

Definetly having real estate to your name will certainly raise your chances of getting a decent loan. And if your business doesnt work out u could always sell the house to pay off the loan.
