Who would you recommend for business cards?
I don't need that many for now - maybe 200 each for 5 people. I have graphics but someone will need to design a simple card layout. Also, I'm looking for quality material. I'll need them within one week.
Any personal recommendations?

I don't know what your budget is, but I know my printer is currently running a pretty good deal. 250 for 29.99 that includes a 7 day shipping printed on a matte card. I think the additional fee added for faster shipping is something like 12.99. I can check though... or have you looked into vista print? Very Very affordable.

We use these guys quite regularly, www.overnightprints.com. The prices are reasonable and the cards are on nice stock.

Hi,
Also check out Exponent on our site. It's free, and it has a lot of features that simply don't exist in other CRM products: it does taxes, it has a real-time general ledger, and it lets you network with other businesses. I built it from the ground up to run my company, so it's definitely battle-tested.

If you can afford it, I highly recommend you get a designer to develop business cards, letter head paper, envelopes, brochures, ads and product packaging all using the same colors and theme. It really helps promote a professional appearance and brand recognition.
The actual printer is really not a problem. Most local copy shops can do the job for that matter. The important part is the integrated design IMO.

Thanks for the recommendations. I agree with you that it's worth getting a designer to do a professional job because it does create a more professional image. That takes time, though, and I was in a bit of a rush, so I used one of those recommended. In the meantime ... who would you recommend to design business cards?

I'd recommend me, but I'm admittedly biased.
As for printing, I agree that the source is usually not a problem. Since it is not a major business expense, I tend to favor a local printer who is well established. Not only are you supporting local business, you can pick out the stock by "touch and feel" and even get press proofs if needed (I usually recommend them). It's much easier to control the quality and schedule. Local printers are also more prone to put extra emphasis on customer service and your satisfaction. They usually have competent staff with experience which can make a big difference too.
I know you already bought your first batch of cards, but this might help for future reference and getting all the other materials you will need.

Our company handles business cards as well and would love to help you on your next batch. We handle everything from design down to printing and shipping -- taking the "partner" approach and giving you less to worry about in the process.
We are a VistaPrint partner and pass the savings on over to our customers. They have great quality, paper selection, and speedy shipping all at really great prices. They have even upgraded in recent months including offering gold foil services for those really high end industries. PM me if you there's anything I can do to help you
Thanks!
